Um, i don't know how to pu this but, I'm really sorry. My life is a mess right
now. I can't deal with is anymore.Mom,Dad, and mary,I love you all and i will
always be there in your hears. Remember that.
Kristine, what can I say but, I love you. You were the best think that has
ever happened to me. When i met you, i was in heaven. But now,i know that I
really am.I love you all but i can't take my sorry life any longer.I'm sorry.
Forgive me.
I got to get away..be brave. You can do this.'It was a long way down. She looked over the
edge of the bridge, her body trembling. A single tear fell
from her gray eyes, followed by a pool of others. She placed another foot forward. Her
hands were the only things stopping her from jumping, and even they were starting to slip.
'on the count on three..'She thought. The silence of the night was echoing through her
body.
'one..two..'
"Don't jump."She turned around to find a short man standing a couple feet away
from her.
"Just go away."She said and turned back to the side of the bridge. A single rock
fell from the edge and splashed at the water several moments later. She could feel her
body shake all over and she was sure the man could see it.
"Please, I can't. Don't jump. You'll regret it. Please."The man's voice
pleaded. The young woman turned around again.
"Please." He said one last time. His voice was shaky and his hands were
trembling. This didnt matter to him. He stuck his hand out to reach the
girl. She looked at him, and his hand for a moment. Several minutes later, she reached
over, and took his hand.
"That's good...Be carefull."He said relieved that she was coming down. He helped
her get down from the side of the bridge. Once she was down, she fell into his arms and
cried.
"Brian, man, we
came as soon as possible. Where is she?"Brian opened the door to his apartment to
find his 4 friends, Nick, Howie, Kevin and AJ standing at the door with worried looks on
there faces.
"She's in here."the guys walked in and followed Brian to his bedroom. He quietly
opened the door and walked in, followed by his friends.
"You have to be quiet."He told them. They nodded and looked over to the bed where
a girl, about 20 or so, was sleeping. She had short brown hair and fair skin.
"Man B, do you even know her name?"Nick broke the silence.
"No,but I did find this."He held up a piece of paper."C'mon."They guys
left the sleeping girl and went to the kitchen where they could talk.
"Whats did you find?"Howie asked while sitting down at the kitchen table along
with the rest of the guys, minus Brian. He was still standing. He
handed the folded paper over to Howie. He read the paper over carefully, so he wouldn't
miss anything. When he finished, he put the paper back on the table and closed his eyes.
Nick took the paper and also read it. Same thing with AJ and Kevin.
"Well, it looks like it was a suicide note."Nick put bluntly.
"No shit!"AJ said and hit the back of Nick's head.
"Hey!"Nick said. AJ just ignored his comment.
"Anyways,i dont know if i should just, like, call the police, or get some phone
numbers or something out of her."Brian started.
"424-9766."A voice said from behind them. They all turned around to see the
girl, standing in teh doorway of the kitchen.
"Excu...excuse me."Brian finally got out.
"424-9766. thats my best friends number."She told him.
"Oh, do you want me to call them for you?"he asked her in a nice tone. She nodded
and a tear rolled down her face.
"Whats your name hun?"Kevin asked.
"Kris..Kristine."She spit out. She was really shy around the guys.
"Well kristine, I'm Kevin, This is the one who saved you, Brian, Nick and
Howie."Kevin introduced. She smiled.
"Why dont you sit down and tell us what happened last night, while Brian calls your
friend."Howie suggested. She took up the offer and pulled up a
chair next to Nick and AJ.
"Kristine, whats your friends name?"Brian asked.
"Lindsay."She said slowly.
"Thanks."Brian started to dial the numbers on the key-pad while Kristine told
her story.
I never thought, I'd
die alone
I laughed the louldes, who'd have known?
I traced the cords back to the wall,
No wonder it was never plugged in at all.
I took my time.
I hurried up.
The choice was mine, I didn't think enough
I'm too depressed, to go on
You'll be sorry when im gone.
I never conqured rarly came
16 just held such better days.
days when I still felt alive,
we couldn't wait to get outside
The world was wide to late to try
The tour was over, we'd survive.
I couldnt wait, till I get home
To pass the time in my room alone.
I never thought, I'd die alone.
Another 6 months I'll be unknown
Give all my things
To all my friends
You'll never set foot in my room again
You'll close it off
Board it up
Remember the time that I spilled the cup
Of apple juice, in the hall
Please tell mom this is not her fault. (blink 182, Adam's song)
